Anyone managed to get any cheap train tickets? been checking for a couple of weeks and they’re super expensive at the minute! Any good sites to check?
Got mine the day they came out, I set up an alert on LNER. £30 return from Donny, it’ll cost me more than that to get from Kendal to wath. Tickets not on sale yet though?
Grand Central or hull trains usually cheapest but I doubt they will be cheap know with game just over 2 week away, you need to book early to get cheaper tickets.
£13.20 day return. Home(ish) match for me…used to work in Kent with Charlton supporters so it’s always nice be to look forward to for me.
We have received an initial allocation of 1,010 tickets in The Jimmy Seed Stand for our fixture at The Valley on Saturday 14 January; kick off 3pm. Further allocations are available upon request. Tickets will go on general sale on Thursday 29thDecember.
£30 return. Doncaster to King’s Cross. Friday and return on Sunday. . Set up an alert on the train line app
Bloody hell - that’s good Sammy. £45 from Northallerton and £25 return - my first time on Hull Trains!
We have a two together railcard mate. Costs £30 per year but more than worth it The trick is usually to book exactly 12 weeks in advance for the best deals but due to strike action that option isn’t there at the moment so we set an alert on the LNER app to notify us when the prices first came out
Yeah, I get the LNER alerts, but as you say ‘all to ****’ at the moment. I’ve also got the Two Together railcard - brilliant value - but luckily our lass doesn’t watch Barnsley (it’s worth paying the extra for her not to come ). Incidentally best/quickest way to/from Kings X to Charlton looks to be the new Thameslink route. Direct trains from St Pancres to Charlton Station. Note: not part of TFL so you need to go onto the Thameslink site. Might see you there Bud.
Cheers Dave. We are staying near London Bridge so think we can get the Thameslink from there Will look out for you mate
