There is some irony about us being sponsored by a company who makes a drink that has all the ingredients and build up of a great beer but a lack of potency leading to no end product…

Love that! I’d never heard of them and was initially a bit disappointed at an alcohol company being our sponsor but thought at least it’s better than a crypto or gambling company and that no one else would mind. Then, I clicked the link and saw it’s a company that makes non-alcoholic drinks. I’m genuinely over the moon that they’re being featured on the front of a football shirt, during dry January too.

Not to mention that proceeds from the sale of their products in January will go to charity too!

And if anyone had any regret of not ‘investing’ in our original sponsor, £100 invested on 1 August would now be worth £35

Does this mean I've missed the boat if I'd prefer to buy a shirt with Barnsley Hospice on?

That said, they do look really good with this new sponsor

The original one wasn’t under the Together Red campaign. That campaign came about immediately after we binned them off.

Why would there be? A mistake was made and the club has moved on.

Apparently Dry January is a registered trademark. What a strange thing to do.

It’s a decent alcohol free beer too and I’m not usually a fan of those!

Agree, it's absolutely great. I love my craft ales, but I also love being able to think straight the next day. Low and alco-free brews have come on in leaps and bounds over the last few years. I've read some good things about Athletic Brewing, and will definitely be seeking their beers out.

They gave vouchers for a free drink at one of the early games. It was a very nice drink!
