I'm not sure we are even blaming the ref for this one, we had started poorly and Bolton deserved to take the lead, and we may well have lost with 11 on the pitch. More annoyed that contraversiol and key decisions have gone against us for the 3rd game in a row - we certainly didn't blame the ref for the Wycombe or Exeter defeats at home or the Plymouth or Derby defeats away.
To be fair to the ref yesterday apart from the sending off which I understand why he gave it though I think it was very harsh , I didn't think he had a bad game. Sure I saw some decisions against us for soft fouls and was annoyed he didn't let us take quick throw-ins and free kicks but I am sure a neutral would say he was fine. He was far better than the previous 2 numpties where we didnt actually lose

it isn’t that simple you’re right. But it’s more accurate to rely on that data, than not

A handful would imply five (i.e. four fingers and a thumb).
A hatful would imply one (i.e. one head).
Therefore, why is a Hatful more than a Handful?
    Sorry, I'm bored!

It's called a hatful as there are too many to carry. So you stick them in your hat to help carry them! :)

It can be any player but it has to be a genuine attempt to play be ball.
So if you make a challenge but get the players leg instead of the ball it's a yellow. If you just dive in aiming solely for the players legs it's a red or if for example you pull his shirt it's a red because you can't be attempting to play the ball like that

Thanks for that, I thought I might be living in some strange parallel universe... I would say that Mads might have a chance on appeal then.
