Oasis for me. The best stuff they did came out the years around the time I was born and my dad was a big fan. Growing up it was always on in car and so I grew up listening to them and still have it on a lot from Spotify

Well that was fortunate. I’m sure you will have a great time. Definitely a band I’d love to see.

I think they're doing two or three dates in the UK, Ian. Might be worth checking out. I think the Dublin gig is sold out, there was only standing tickets left when we booked.

Just checked. Doing Glasgow in March. The venue is an old picture house in the Gorbals.
    I’ll look into it.

Didn’t we have a night out with the drummer of The Only Ones, after one of your exhibitions in Chelsea?

Wait until you realise that, like me, you were born closer to world war one than today.

A lot of my favourites fall outside the 40 year mark. Thankfully these guys don't.

    Porcupine Tree

@Stephen Dawson might like this one. It's about trains... and the passage of time...

I'd have to go Stone Roses as they're the ones that I constantly put on in the car and never get fed up with listening to. Loved the Smiths\Cure\ Housemartins etc as a teenager. Feel.out of the music loop now, it's all rap with my young un.
