Bramley is not miles away from Headingley, but massive traffic. With traffic it is at least a 20 minute drive each way.
Ha, got 3 box's(6x500ml) of Westons for £21 should have been £30 & with Morrisons friends & family discount it came to £18.90p, 1st box £10, 2nd box £8.90, third box freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Works out at around 85p a pint I think.........hic.
BTW, same 4 bottles on the P & O Britannia costs £19 going to take my Tesco card next time, that'll show em
Only 8-10 mins from here but checked from yours and it says 13-16 (looking at current traffic). I guess it depends if you ever pass by Kirkstall Brewery as it’s only a couple of mins from there, just up the hill and then a left and left again at some point along that road. You’ve got a Waitrose in walking distance anyway I used to walk to the Nettos and then it shut and they built the Waitrose across the road which is quite a drastic change of a decision.
Problem with Aldi is they sell cheap brands ie cereals and buiscuits which are cheap and taste crap some folk might not be bothered but I am. Only thing I will say is Aldi,s meat section is excellent.
Most of those cheap brands that taste crap are actually either identical or next to identical to the ones they are imitating and are made at the same place and all that changes is the packaging.
That is true of some of the stuff like pasta sauces and crisps - the hula hoops are famously often bagged up wrong - but certainly not the biscuits and chocolate etc.
I would disagree at least with cereal. On a blind taste test you should be able to easily tell the difference between stuff like Weetabix and Kellogg's cornflakes compared to cheaper brands such as super market own trying to copy them.
It's true if a lot of stuff yes some slight recipe changes will be in place on a lot of things but not to significantly change the taste. The likelihood is it doesn't taste any better or worse but simply people's tastes are geared towards the familiar. Working in the food production industry I can tell you its very wide scale across all products. It's certainly influenced my shopping habits over the years.

Go into Tesco frequently with just my phone to pay. Really pisses me off I have to pay twice the price just because I don't have my wallet/club card on me.
