I've just been given a heads up about a local history writer called Pete Brown. Apparently he's from Stainforth and is a Reds fan. Writes about beer, working men's clubs etc from a social history perspective. I'll be buying his latest book, looks fascinating. Just wondering if anyone on here knows him.

Edit - I'm guessing that he's far more likely to be from Staincross than Stainforth with him being a Red.

It's near Donny, but I'm assuming that my mam got confused, as it's much more likely he's from Staincross if he's a Red!
