Would you/should we give oulare and iseka another chance?

Iseka showed some promise in my opinion and obviously Oulare was a lost cause for whatever reason. Any way back? Different manager, different motivation? If we can't sell them can we use them for the remainder of their contracts.

If they can be arsed then yes, but I doubt it.

Duff was quite public about not wanting Iseka around the squad, and Oulare appears to be 'injured' again. So I can't see it.

Call me stupid, but I was really hoping to see a Morris/Iseka double act up front this season. I can possibly see a Norwood/Iseka working if Duff could get Iseka fired up.

    Oulare... sorry, not for me.

Edit. Just seen @Archey's post. I must have missed Duff's comments on Iseka. Or more likely forgotten them... :(

Neither of them are interested in playing. The pair are a stain on the game, especially Obbi

When will we be rid of these 2 ....Especially Oulare ( the club should sue whoever agreed his signing as his record spoke volumes)

Neither will kick another ball for us. Arguably the two worst signings in my 35 years as a supporter. I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if Conway had somehow benefitted.

Something in that at a guess. His three striker signings all absolutely awful that summer. Or the one who signed Mike Phenix then cried at a man with over 1000 games as a manager why he wasn’t playing him had his say too…

If I remember right, Duff was asked why Iseka wasn't involved in the first few games, and he said he was hoping he'd be moved on before the window closed. I don't think he eluded to attitude problems or anything, just that his future lied elsewhere.

Still speaks volumes in my opinion bud, had he liked what he saw and thought he'd improved our side, I don't think he'd be as eager to let him go, especially as quickly as he wanted him gone

Iseka in this league would probably have notched regularly if he could be arsed but that was never going to happen Oulare doesn’t qualify as a footballer in my eyes and both signings started our decline from the championship.

He played in most of the pre-season games if I remember right. I presumed we wanted him off the wage bill but couldn't manage it. I don't think we'll ever find out the truth, but I am certain we won't see either in a red shirt again.

Phenix cost 25k and was probably on about £500 a week though. These two chumps have cost us in the region of about £2.5m.

Oulare is George Weah and Ali Dia's cousin.

I read abit about him when we signed him, his dad was a footballer too, had a half decent career in Belgium. Signed for Stoke at one point but don't think he played any games for them iirc. Wonder if he was the same? Or complete opposite and is disappointed in how he's ruining his career?

Can't believe Watford actually paid 6 million for him.

Yeah I vaguely recall duff saying something when iseka went out on loan, it can't have been down to ability though otherwise he would still be here, arguably better than anything we have. It might have been purely financial.

Doubt they’re paying much of their wages, but even if they’re paying 25%, that probably still frees up enough to bring a player in. Dunno.

I reckon the Turkish club will be paying a decent portion of his wages, but the belgium club with Oulare, wasn't it reported to be about 10/15%? And he was on about 7/8k in championship? No idea if we had a relegation clause in there to reduce those wages or not when relegated

Who knows. If it were up to me, the lot would be coming outta Conway’s pocket.
