Assuming it has. Surely no matter how much needs to be rejected. Otherwise we will have absolutely nobody for the right hand side, now Edwards is crocked
Yep sod the money we don’t need a rebuild halfway through the season plus Williams is the only player with any decent pace when we attack in the wide areas .
‘Here we go’…….what a gormless post!!! Aren’t other clubs allowed to show an interest in out players?? Why do folk get there tits in a twist over a social media rumour
He is as important to this side as any other player (Anderson included)......why don’t we just sell both and get 6 new players eh?....there comes a time when you need to have a settled squad and that time is now for me
If true, it must have happened since this morning then because Duff said in his pre-match presser that we've not received any bids for players. And besides, I'd be surprised if we didn't receive any bids for our better players.
The thing is, we can't get a settled squad without bringing players in, but we've no money to do that without letting players go. I'd love someone to go mad and give us £2m for Jasper Moon, but I can't see it.
Remember it’s impossible to sign fit ready to play players who will improve the team. Literally impossible apparently
Quality over quantity for me. We need to target our signings much more rather than bringing in players for the sake of it which is something we've done too many times over the years. Even this year which would you prefer? Larkeche, Tedic and Martin or one decent loanee? Searle, Edwards and McCarthy or a good solid player? I know not every signing will work out but we do seem to operate a bit of a scattergun approach at times. The amount of players we've signed who have just absolutely failed is ridiculous
My theory regarding transfers in and out is that until our club hints at it or the other club confirms it then it means nowt. Remember biglil convinced half the countries media that we were in for a player he'd completely made up
Obviously only a rumour, so not gonna get me y-fronts in a twist, but FWIW I think he has really looked the part this year. And for a long time I wasn't really a fan. Whether he looks better cos we are a league lower, or because he has improved is open to debate, but on his performances this year it would not surprise me if he has been looked at.
I don’t mind selling, given the state we’re in at the moment, plus Jordan Williams is replaceable. However as we are all aware we are very short in that position. So to sell NOW would be absolutely stupid, unless we have an immediate replacement lined up who can slot straight in. The question is do we trust Khaled to have someone lined up? & if not do we trust him & the club not to put money before common sense? I know my answer….
I find it strange, the stance some are taking. If we can sell a player and bring players in that strengthen the squad with the money, why wouldn’t we? Some fowk talk like we’re the only professional football club that sells players. We’re Barnsley, not Real Madrid
All players are replaceable aren't they? However if the club sell without replacing and/or strengthening then as you imply that would say a lot. Spectemur agendo
