    How long is he contracted for? If he’s contracted for next season it wouldn’t be particularly smart to sell him now (unless a stupid offer comes in)

    My main problem with that is i wouldn’t trust the club to bring in three quality players to strengthen the squad.

    Probably not, cos we’re running at a loss every season. Like you and me, the Club has to make sure it pays all the bills, before working out how much is left to spend on other stuff.

    If you look into it, it comes from a post on the Preston forum. They're suggesting that they may be looking at Williams, purely based on the fact that he had a 9 game loan spell at Bury, five years ago, and Ryan Lowe was coincidentally their manager at the time.

    His contract runs until this Summer but then there's the option of another year in the club's favour, which I'd assume that we'd snap up straight away.

    Very injury prone decent player especially in league one. I don't lose any sleep over players coming and going nowadays it happens.

    I’ve been a big fan of his for a long time and would be/will be pretty gutted when he does leave (not saying it’s now to Preston).

    He offers us raw pace and is pretty versatile.

    I often wonder why some people follow the club. There are so many depressing and negative posts on this thread, all based on a stupid rumor.

    It's depressing here at times.
