Are you joking? He took a team in the play offs and got them 3 wins in half a season and 1 was against us. They finished nearer the drop after he had them in relegation form. Bielsa took the same team up as champions with only 1 signing Douglas from wolves.
Hibs he had in the relegation places a club that apart from rangers and celtic are one of the biggest in Scotland along with hearts. There fans were really glad to see the back of him.

Sorry, this just isn't true. He was rubbish at Leeds. I liked Hecky, thought he was okay, but some fans rate him far too highly. He's doing well at Sheffield united, but anything other than promotion should & probably would be underwhelming considering the finances what got pumped into the club. I think he'll manage autos though, and deserves a shot in the premier league if he does get it. He's lucky in one respect how poor Norwich, Watford & West Brom have been. Some of the accusations & stick Cryne gets, despite us as fans knowing his personal situation at the time is laughable. We all think we know best but reality is if we were in Cryne's position, majority of us would run the club into the ground and wouldn't have a football club to enjoy anymore.

Is that when he was the messiah, and apparently he could walk both on, and under water ?. :p

He still is the messiah to some, I get he was a ex player who won promotion with us, then got us promoted as a manager, from the town and a Barnsley fan as a young en. This is the reason why some rate him so highly. Some would have still been singing "he's one of our own" as he took us down the leagues to league 2.

Yeah and that's why I found it easier than some, to be a bit more honest and critical about him, because I'm not from Burnsley. ;)
I agree his promotion squad was almost destroyed in that dreadful Jan '17 window, and maybe there were other things going off and being said behind the scenes.
But he should have gone long before he chose to join Leeds, because at that rate, he would indeed have taken us down to Lg Two.
