    Not even in top 10.
Pedro, Gavi, Reyna, Pino, Camavinga to name a few oh and a young lad called Bellingham.

Neither have been pointless, they've just not worked out. That's just what happens sometimes in football.

Why aren’t we sending them back in January like Hartlepool have with Oduor. Probably because we didn’t have the foresight to put a clause in.

Recall clauses work both ways. Remember Drinkwater?

A big problem for Martin is that we’ve won so many games by a single goal.

If we were chasing the game more or were 3 or 4 up & cruising he would’ve got far more game time.

A lightweight flair player isn’t much use when you’re defending 1-0 leads so often

On Tedic, I think he would’ve got quite a bit of game time over the last month or so & even started a couple of games over Norwood had he not got injured. His goal scoring needs some work but I think he’s a very good forward for holding the ball up & laying it off to team mates.

We have to remember that we’ve got two terrible signings still on the books taking up a big chunk of the wage budget meaning we can’t get the type of attacking talent we should be able to afford.

Also if he'd just been a little bit better of a player he'd have also got more game time.

i'd say they're both the very definition of pointless signings.. For a small club that is having funding problems, to waste any money is pointless. For us to pay money for any players that have done nothing for the good of the team.. is definitely pointless.

What you on about.. it's got nothing to do with hindsight. You said that there was a point to the signings for some unknown reason. And I was disagreeing..
And I would also point out it's also abit of a shambles form the recruitment team. Telling the club to go for players that are actually worse than we currently have.
But like our CEO they'll also be smashing guys with no accountability for wasting money.

I've absolutely no issue with you disagreeing with me, it doesn't make you right though.

You implied they were a waste of money when we signed them, would you have said that if they turned out to be good? Or are you suggesting we shouldn't sign any players?

When we signed them, they weren't pointless in any way shape or form. We needed a creative midfielder and a striker. That was literally the point of signing them. It's easy to say they're pointless now, because they've not had the impact we anticipated, but it happens.

We have a recruitment team who had a purple patch of signings that we made money on, mainly central defenders and they are living on those past glories, but even their ability to spot a decent center half appears to have deserted them. The last few windows have been terrible but yet no one appears to have been held accountable.
