    See that this evil police officer was able to rape and torture women for nearly 20 years before someone finally took action.

    Its hard to understand how he was able to get away with it for so long.
    At least he wont be doing it again but its far too late

    I reckon it'll not only bring other women forward in this case. But any other similar issues that may have occurred with other police officers.

    The bit I can't get my head around is how can you be raped with consent? Only one count is without consent? One for the legally minded.

    He locked one women in a cupboard on numerous occasions she met him,he just a wrong un,glad he sent down,might make other blokes think how they treat women in their life

    And like Savile lots of 'good cops' will have known and said nothing, and that's why when you hear "It's just a few bad apples" you know it's a load of crap, because the 'good cops' don't speak up.

    If they don't speak up, they are not good cops.
    There are things these so called good cops keep schtum about for fear of isolation. Eg my old mate an ex copper turned detective now retired I assume, when asked why SYP didn't have it out with the met. during the miners strike. He said they stick together in such cases.
    For instances as the case mentioned above by the op. none should be vilified for speaking out. And those that turn a blind eye would know they are walking on dodgy ground if they ignore it including those at the top. More so.

    Ex cop in jail on sexual charges. TBH I don’t think he will go many days without being assaulted. He will certainly have to watch his back every day.
