    And they're trying to get Gelhardt back on loan, which will probably cost them about 500k for the half season.

    Generally, once you get to the stage where wages are regularly late, it doesn't end well.

    Why isn't the 3 point deduction being applied immediately? Why wait until 31 December 2023? Oh wait.. that would put them 7 points from safety. Yes, I get it now. Silly me.

    That's not what suspended 3 point suspension means. They won't be docked any points at all, at any time, if they pay wages in time throughout the year.

    What they’ve ‘punished’ them with in the must have a separate account with enough money to pay wages from if needed, should be standard for any owner of a club.

    Make that 2x ringfenced accounts. One for wages, one for HMRC.

    Why it can get to the stage a club owns millions years after the year-end they were due to pay is beyond me. Especially when I could be being barred from being a director if I don't submit VAT or Corp tax on time, which is a tiny % of 'millions'.
