it's a bit of Barnsley thing to slate any player who leaves the club. always has been, for some reason.

not sure I would agree he is 'easily' a championship player. he was one of the worst of a very bad bunch when we got relegated, and has only had 8 or 9 starts for Millwall this season. he's obviously still not doing enough, to cement himself at that level

He’d get into this side in midfield or wing-back. Playing his way into a championship side at 22, if Millwall don’t fancy it or can’t afford him I’m sure there’ll be others.

I said he was easily a Championship LWB. He isn't easily a Championship player anywhere else.

I’d have him in CM over any of the current team any day of the week. More mobile and can win a tackle. Don’t understand the current hate either. People were loving him under Val, even giving him a legends Nick name.

Good luck to him and when he moves on, let’s hope we get decent business in return.

He and Walton were imo the main reasons we stayed up under Struber. They brought vitality back into the team. Once Radlinger and Ritzmair were shoved to the bench.

Always thought with it being a 'loan' that if we went up this season he'd come back here.

He had a really good 12 months or so under Struber & Val but he was awful last season. Not sure we’ll get much of a fee for him if I’m honest. Lacks a yard of pace to be a top player. £1.5m absolute tops and we’ll be lucky to get that.

he isn't though is he? surely if he was, he'd be regularly playing LWB in the championship?

Whether he plays or not could depend upon a number of factors e.g. who plays LWB for Millwall already, what the coach expects from his LWB, what other positions the coach envisages for him, how much the coach actually rates him.

Millwall seem to have taken him off us to play as other than a LWB.

Anyway, it's only an opinion innit?

Not a chance for me. I think he's slightly better defending but the amount of chances Cadden can make for us from crossing miles outweighs what Styles does when he gets forward. He was really poor last season when he got forward

I Millwall were to send him back early would we be entitled to compensation as we've probably budgeted for only paying a reuced wage (with Millwall forking out the balance) for the whole season?

Played 90 mins today at LWB. Not sure why people think Millwall don’t fancy him?

All depends on the contract signed mate. It'll all be in there. Injury clauses and everything
