That’s how I saw it. Larkeche should’ve cleared the ball but looked a definite free kick to me. Not sure how you concede a pen when in possession of the ball?

Great first half disappointing 2nd but we still had chances to increase the lead. Accrington were never going to score until the bizarre penalty at the end. I was gobsmacked when he gave it. Having conveniently ignored several valid claims we had. I particularly liked the clear push on Norwood being given as a foul to them when he was pushed into a defender

We are due a hell of a run of evening out.

Unbelievable first 20 minutes where we looked more like Barca than Barnsley. I thought we then looked professional for the remainder of the game.

Larkeche should’ve certainly cleared it but, from live viewing, didn’t look a pen at all to me. Will have to see the highlights later. Certainly looking forward to see our goals again. They were class.

Match day thread only running to 5 pages? Not much to moan about I suppose. Apart from the mandatory penalty..:)

Great to get back to winning ways with as comfortable a win as you could wish to see. I'd be gobsmacked at any fan complaining today.

Just said to my dad people on forums are picking at the second half performance. Just baffling for me bud. Very, very pleased with the win, 3 points & back to winning ways after 3 big losses, scoring 3 goals after not scoring in 3 games, shame about the dodgy penalty (to be expected at this point!) but feel great.

Just seen penalty back. Awful awful decision. Never a penalty in a million years.

Enjoyed the game for the most part, but that penalty left a sour taste. Just seen the replay and absolutely baffled. Like everyone else I gave it a cheer because it seemed an obvious foul the other way. Bemused an absolute understatement.

I was a bit baffled as to why he entered a wrestling match rather than kicking it clear . Loved the way Mads hugged him , good captaincy amd obviously had some empathy!

Agree...also if we are getting those given against us....how come we don't get similar ones? We should be in double figures with those

Pleased with the win, but Collins' time wasting the last 15 mins was infuriating. We are supposed to be being entertained.

Thought the crowd was really flat aswell second half.. even for Oakwell. 3 nil up and out sung by 240 Stanley fans.
Oakwell is not a library it's a morgue.

Let's not forget though, that could be down to Duff. Collins keeps doing it so Duff doesn't seem to mind, might even instruct him on it. Personally I hate it, especially at 3 nil. But don't mind when it's close because every other club do it

He did that because he's training to be a surprise entrant in next weekend's Wwf Royal rumble.
And I bet uncle Mads was jealous of somebody else and not him, giving a daft pen away this time. :D
Ok enough Tom Foolery lol, I'm happy with a convincing win against an admittedly very poor team. Now we move on and hopefully we'll get into the winning habit again.

Btw I thought this was interesting from a Burnsley fan, who sometimes goes to watch Accy as well, and he was apparently there for our match on Boxing day.
Notice the bit about our quiet fans, and saying that Oakwell is still a good traditional stadium. :)

" Me and my lad visited Oakwell for the first time today. Burnley fans that follow Accy from time to time. Too good for Accy today and perhaps a bit of justice for Boxing day!.
Good to see Michael Duff at the helm and to have a good look at Bobby Thomas.
I have to say though I was surprised at how quiet the fans were, wondering if there is a reason for that?. Always great to see a great traditional stadium. "

If you go back to our game against Cheltenham i think it’s an instruction as they played exactly the same way too from the keeper. I think it’s so it makes the risk of gettting caught in transition to a minimum but I agree it’s really frustrating when a quick pass out could possibly allow us to catch the other team out.

Honestly think the ref was doing his upmost to keep Accy in the game. Also makes the foul that Norwood didn’t get a pen for an absolute stone wall pen. The player wasn’t even advancing on goal. Joke of a decision. Once again.

Nivver a pen; however, we shouldn't have given them the opportunity to fake one with only aminute to go - shabby and lazy. We're no way near a team to be feared.

Doesn't look like a penalty to me, but then Williams (is it Williams?) doesn't complain either, so maybe he did catch him. Either way, who cares?

What's far more interesting is that Norwood scored with an overhead kick. A perfectly executed, brilliantly taken, overhead kick. And he didn't even look back to see if it had gone in, he knew it had gone in. How cool is that! And Aitchison scored his first goal for us with his feet. And that goal by Williams, a right back in the centre forward position (reminded me a bit of Eaden's against Seff Utd), that's what dreams are made of. It's a brilliant win, with brilliant goals.

You've got to Ac-Cent... Tchu-Ate the positive and E-lim-i-nate the negative and latch on to the affirmative, don't mess with Mr. In-between
