A few in west stand lower in front of us stood up. But yeah, not a whole lot of much. I wonder what 2 through to 9 consists of?
In years to come we will be able to say we were there when we heard the first ever double phase 5 where the staff didn't have a clue so stayed where they were.
Aye..'where were you when Kennedy was assassinated?', 'What were you doing when man first set foot on the moon?' 'Do you remember when BFC security went to phase 10?' History defining stuff
The Steward nearest to us moved from his regular place in front of the perimeter wall to the top of the steps, then moved back after they were ‘stood down’
Think it’s the evacuation procedures, stewards have to practice how long it takes to open gates on match days etc
Me too. Saw us win. Saw my footy mates. Bit of banter with my Dad in the care home. He saw an antelope in one of the trees outside his window. Sadly I didn't spot it. I'm sure it was there though. I heard Gilroyd is awash with tree climbing antelopes, to the extent it is becoming a bit of a problem TBH.
My Grandma in care home too mate. She's nominated my Dad to take care of her estate and then forgot. We're in limbo. Onwards and upwards.
One has to see the funny side at times. My Dad has great moments of lucidity & he is much loved. You sometimes need to embrace the antelopes though. They get a bad press in the Sun apparently. Sadly I don't read that paper, so only heard from my old man.
