    That's phase 5 isnt it? I've never heard 10 before. Just curious what the difference is and why it didn't seem to provoke much movement from the stewards

    Why do people go "wheeeeeeyy" when those announcements are made? It's a phenomenon I've never understood.

    It's because they're looking forward to a performance of some kind - stewards marching out in formation, then kneeling down for no apparent reason or some such. I reckon the Powers That Be have had enough of the ridicule, and have devised Phase 10, which is "Make the crowd go "wheeeeey" but then confuse them by not doing anything".
