Never know though I remember going up under Andy Ritchie a sort of fluke of a promotion. Yeah we bought Hume but we used alot of the players who helped us gain promotion and eventually beat the drop. Togetherness, team spirt and a good manager is very underrated. That said there's a long way off even making the play off never mind promotion.
I don’t think so. I was talking about life in the Championship, which the numbers in that article is looking at. I think. Anyhoo, the broader point was that we run at a loss even as it is. The more we spend, the more we’re likely to lose. People are quick to criticise the likes of Wigan, Derby etc for their spending, yet there’s plenty that seem to want us to go the same route
I guess there’s a few blueprints to follow - Millwall, Luton etc about our size and have spent well to slowly grow into the championship (I think)
I'm not sure about those two. They are very similar to us and are both just a couple of bad transfer windows from being back in League One. Unfortunately we had Conway and they didn't.
