    If they postpone this at this late stage when fans have travelled it would be hugely disappointing.

    The weather has done exactly what was forecast so if it is still frozen they knew it would be all along, surely?

    I think there's a few teams don't want to play, I was in Pboro this morning where our u21s is off and Ashby, 10 miles from Burton this afternoon, both places 5-6° bright sunshine. Yes its forecast to be 0° by ko, but it does seem many more matches get called off easily nowadays. What happened to orange balls and scraping the lines off. H&S and global warming gone mad.

    Been looking at the Exeter Message board and they seem to be less hopeful - also rightly having a go at the club for sending out a tweet promising regular updates and then nothing since. no clear info but rumours of a pitch inspection at 3pm, or some say 4:15pm and some say 5:30 pm but no one has pointed to a reliable source for any of them

    4pm pitch inspection ongoing according to the Exeter fans forum.

    Not sure if it was a joke but they also said they’d put a fan heater under the coverings of the worst affected areas…

    If this is off, I repeat, there is no way there was ever a prospect of it being on in the first place. It should have been pulled last night or first thing this morning.
