I’m not close enough to the rules, so I really don’t know, but it is it possible that Exeter were genuinely fully expecting the game to be on, but the decision was taken out of their hands?

Genuinely don’t know. It’s a disgraceful situation and somebody somewhere should be made to stump up some cash. I just don’t know where the buck stops. It’s a shame they had the keeper situation, as I’m sure some people might point it in that direction. Rightly or wrongly.

Exeter chose to keep one section of the pitch covered up today (it was still covered mid afternoon) preventing sunlight from getting to it. Guess which section of the pitch didn't thaw and was given as the reason for the postponement.

Deliberate act to postpone it imo
