    In and amongst all the wise cracking, we seem to be ignoring the main question - is he any good?! Seems to have fallen out of favour at Kilmarnock. Their fans reckon £75k is a great deal for them! Obviously he might turn out to be superb and his career record is very decent so far, but the lower reaches of the SPL are probably about League 1 level.

    Scored a few last season in the league below SPL. I’d put that at L2 level but worth a punt at £75k. It’s where we’re at financially right now, let’s hope it ends up a good move.

    Unfortunately this is the level we’re at. We haven’t got a pot to piss so taking punts on players from the Scottish leagues Is the best we can hope for. Hopefully we find a hidden gem, rather than Duff trying to polish a turd.

    We've had a few from Scotland over the years that have worked out well. Think the likes of Glavin, Payton and Archdeacon had a bit better pedigree though.
    This one is more akin to Ally Millar.....and he was ok.

    This is the reality of our situation we probably can’t compete with maybe half of league one financially especially the top six but it doesn’t stop us competing and having a good season
