I placed withdrawals with Coral for £70 and another for £20 on the 19th of January. I placed the £70 withdrawal before the £20 withdrawal yet received the £20 withdrawal on the 21st and the £70 withdrawal on the 23rd. On my bank statement the mandate for the £70 was the 20th and the £20 withdrawal was the 19th. The bank insist they don't delay funds and it must have left Coral on the 20th and the Coral insist that both withdrawals were processed on the 19th. Somebody is lying there. Also why does a £20 payment clear quicker than a £70 unless it's Coral that are full of 5hit.
I’ve never dealt with Corals but have used SkyBet , Paddy Power and Bet 365 for a long time and withdrawals always arrive in my account usually within ten minutes. Occasionally it may be an hour. My debit card is Visa and I believe that it is them that ensure quick payments and not particularly the bank
Mine is Santander and they switched to Mastercard debit which is slower. I think Coral are telling porkies to be honest because the bank statement says the money was sent on the 20th.
Santander use a speedier process (instantaneous) for all transfers after the first one (usually 1-3 days). If you haven't used Coral before, the first transaction would have got caught up in the "slow" process while the second one went straight through. All the above assumes that the £70 was your first ever transaction with Coral. If it wasn't then ignore everything I've said.
Cheers it was the first withdrawal since my account was re-verified. That said I've made another withdrawal on Tuesday and haven't received that one either yet. Not so bothered because it's during the week though. Missed out on some items on eBay because the initial £70 dragged it's feet.
I deposit into my Skybet and 365 accounts through PayPal. When withdrawing I have to transfer to PayPal and then to my bank, it's never taken more than a hour for money to arrive.
Stephen , check out the Paddy Power debit card. It’s not for me but basically they can supply you with a card which can be used as a normal debit card except it has no direct contact with your bank account. It is a cash card and has a balance the same as your PP account.
Might join them online tomorrow and use them for Cheltenham on Saturday. It takes 14 days for the card to come if you order one online but it does appeal to me mate. Cheers.
Can you believe there are so many Cheltenham Festival races with ante-post favourites at 2/1 or worse? Supreme Novices', Champion Hurdle and Champion Chase favourites all odds on, and most of the other championship races with shorties at the head of the market. There surely has to be better value available on the day?
I hadn’t really looked at ante-post prices but that is remarkable. Are fields likely to be down ? Is it just a low standard of class this season ? You’d expect some heavy Irish money on the day, for relatively unknowns but it’ll be interesting to see.
Because of the weather bookies are 5hittin themselves. This Irish flood wave won't be as strong this year.
Bookies are never “5hittin themselves”. If you appreciate that, you’ll save yourself alot of time and money. They employ some of the best maths brains in the world to come up with coding so that they cannot lose in the long run. So, whilst people may have good days/ weeks/ years even, the majority of gamblers are losing.
