    Shock horror. Barnsley fans bemused. Some even pouring scorn on those of us that think Walton is the better Goalkeeper. Even having the audacity to even say. Perhaps Collins was their 1st choice.
    I personally think both have to make vast improvements to be considered Championship standard. Scott must be choking on his breakfast if it comes off, given his scathing comments lol.

    Quite a few of their ex Barnsley contingent came via other clubs. Apart from Moncur, Woodrow and Morris who else have they signed from us?

    We’ve taken up the option to extend his contract but that means little if someone makes an irresistible offer for him. We would then look somewhat thread bare without Walton

    Sounds a decent lad, wants first team football, not sure if the move gets it for him. Goalkeepers develop later than outfield players, let's see if we regret this five years from now. Btw watched Accrington yesterday, their 21year old keeper looks a prospect.

    I don’t think they signed him from us, but Jordan Clark has turned out to be a bit of a blunder on our part. Very rare occurrence though ;)

    With respect Helen and I respect your opinion. There are too many aspects for me that need to improve the all round game of both goalies to say championship 1st choice quality. When I look back over the last 40+yrs (in the 2nd tier most of that time) they wouldn't fit into my top 10 either of em.
    They will get better, of that I'm sure.

    I agree with Helen. By the way, which particular attributes are required, in your opinion, to qualify as a goalkeeper of Championship quality, and in what way do these differ from the qualities one ought to be able to expect from a goalkeeper in the Premier League, League One, League Two, National League or local pub league?
