    I'd agree with most things on your list Fi, but a good pizza (not an American doughy monstrosity) is a simple elegant meal.
    Also, a proper gin cocktail (negroni - dry martini) is a better drink than any flavoured gin (except sloe) and indeed most small batch nonsense that try to distance themselves from the crowd by overusing cardomon or other strong flavours which overpower the juniper.

    Always had the best squads wherever he has gone, barca (best in spain) bayern in Germany. Spent all that with city and never won the champions league.

    Hve you visited Gabrielle D'Annuncio Segreto museum on the opposite side to Malcesine (Garda Riviera) just up from Salo? It is a fascinating place and although he was very 'complex' - poet, war hero, womaniser, friend (but also adversary) of Mussolini, driving him to becoming ultra nationalist and founder of Italian Fascism, the Villa and Gardens are a 'must see'. There is even a ship half buried into the hillside!
