Saw the video. Didn't look a joke to me... Hope it is though because otherwise how stupid do you have to be to do something like that? With how much you have to lose?

Ive seen it now looked half cut snorts some a line of white powder off a table and then starts shadow boxing abit. Think he's been very stupid by looks and setup.

Well, for one, he certainly won't be 'returning to the ring for the right offer' any more. Can easily risk his chances at future jobs, presenting, sponsors, whatever else. Why you'd put your family through the media spotlight is beyond me. Doing it is one thing, recording and pizzing about on camera whilst doing is another.

It’s pretty well known in boxing that Kell’s always done coke & loves a night out when he’s not in training for a fight.

Seems to be part of the culture in boxing. Hatton was always at it between fights, Calzaghe & Fury done it too.

He’s been silly to get caught on camera but it’s 2023. Coke’s everywhere. I often feel like I’m the only one not on it on a night out.

Aye, pretty sure Amir Kahn mentioned Kell was on the gear at one point years ago.

Of course he could. As if Sky / BT / Dazn would care. Just sell it as getting over his demons like Fury & Hatton.

They’d probably like it, the more scandal the better, it gets headlines & people tuning in.

Sky would’ve been rubbing their hands the other week at the press they got with the Smith comments before the Eubank fight.

Boxing’s an absolute shitshow. Failed drug tests & half of the best British boxers been signed with a mass murdering drug dealer up until recently. A fighter doing a bit of cokes a drop in the ocean.

That's true. And let's be honest, all that about Benn only came to light due to a leak or similar, right? Hearn & co knew about him failing well in advance, and yet still, even after finding out, continued to sell tickets to fans. I'm still not fully on board with all this youtube stuff within boxing. But apparently seems to be all the rage these days mate.

Said it back in 2012 so it's been an open secret for ages. Allegedly cheated on his wife for years and allegedly picked the wrong taken lady once hence his stabbing in Spain.

Completely agree, the whole Benn scenario was a disgrace. I still can’t believe Eubank’s promoter Kalle Sauerland was trying to put him in the fight weight drained even after he knew Benn was doping.

I don’t watch any of the YouTube stuff but I hope that if it is successful that it means we get better fights on regular Sky & BT. Getting Beterbiev - Yarde on standard BT was pretty good at the weekend & I remember they also put Joyce - Dubois on regular BT before Roy Jones & Tyson put on an exhibition on box office. If they have to spend a bit of time advertising the celebrity fights but it stops the real fights been PPV then I’ll happily take that.

I wouldn’t go that far but loads at the top level are especially in the States.

Always found it laughable how some fighters seem to be able to go through 5 or 6 weight divisions & maintain their strength & punching power where as most of the British fighters only tend to go up one weight division throughout their career.

I'd go as far as to say 95% at least out of those competing at a decent level. Dropping weight for weigh ins, maintaining ridiculous levels of fat free muscle, it's just not credible. Even Tyson Fury who is a bit of a fat lad had a ban.
