    Why would you assume he meant you?

    Is it because you have some 'beliefs', that you cling onto despite being shown facts that prove them wrong?

    Is it because deep down you know what you feel and the cap fits perfectly, but you're ashamed?

    Helen if any can work get them working but these lads/ men in boats arnt coming to work and i don't care what anyone says. Shame Brexit got rid of loads of workers.

    I genuinely don’t see it as been argumentative at all mate, to be honest I’d be interested on why the uk seems more attractive, what is it that we offer more than other countries on that list.

    But when a couple of people have pointed the reasons out already and the person has just chosen to ignore it or not believe it, it starts to look like their mind is already made up.

    Because the statistics don't support that statement?

    And after being pointed at the facts, someone choosing to ignore them and continue posting opinions that are clearly not supported by any data is frankly weird. How would you describe it, if not argumentative or odd?

    Why don't you step away and read the links that have been posted, and then maybe look up how many asylum seekers come here compared to other countries?

    Why are facts not important to you?

    And if you were posting facts that you could show evidence for, and others were posting clearly uninformed opinions that they refused to question, what words do you think fit that behaviour?
