Oxford did as well as us in the second half. Probably better. An Oxford fan would be equally as able to bemoan the fact that they didn't get a point from a team as bad as Barnsley.
Good teams take 3 points even when playing poorly. And we were much the better side till 70th minute. We have plenty of players to return and get fully fit. Oxford are a good side at home. They beat Ipswich not long ago. Will they not go up? Great win for us.
No, that's why we might go up. Because teams that get promoted hold on to their leads in tight, scrappy games away from home 9 times out of 10.
Polite question but are you being sarcastic, we scored twice away from home, including a cracker of a team goal and got 3 points. We have no God given right to beat 'teams like Oxford'.
Were a decent side on our day but i don’t think were good enough to go up although I’d obviously be glad to be proved wrong.
We stopped playing after an hour, poor really, should’ve pushed on after the second but we just sat back, game was there for us to go on and win convincingly but we just let a poor side back into it
That’s why we may go up . If we can convert more of our chances we make , then we wouldn’t have been hanging on last 15 mins
Absolute nonsesne- we didn't stop playing, a decent team playing at home created chances. Mainly through Brannagan who must earn as much as our starting midfield combined. I read the same crap after Accrington. At this stage of the season it is unrealistic to expect any team to be at full intensity for 90m especially in a game played out of sequence. Especially when the bench is as weak as ours in. Honestly can you see how well we are doing compared to what many of us thought in the summer? Five points clear of 7th...
If you think Oxford are a decent team then that’s your opinion, in my opinion their not, we let them back into the game when it should have been finished off
Some right whoppers on here. Oxford recently took points off ipswich and wednesday. Another hard 3 points away.
