I don’t always see it purely a case of running the clock down especially earlier in the game. Yes it’s a spoiling tactic to try and ‘slow’ the opposition down, and perhaps give us some breathing time at times when we’re under the cosh, and yes ultimately the ref will add time on, but if it helps to alleviate the immediate pressure then so be it. Doesn’t always work, but not all tactics do.

I think they really came into being during Covid, when we all watched on ifollow. Love being back in person but we had some great viewing during lockdown, a relegation escape and reaching the play offs.

Got to agree, i look forward to all the banter, from the Championship Manager diehards, to the novice, an its a fun way of contributing, even the views, thoughts, and input can be so emotional and critical, win, loose or draw, C,O,Y,R,

It's also a good reflection of what's said at a match:
"FFS Norwood, come and sit next to me"
    30 seconds later...
"Yeah, gerrin - great goal Norwood".

It annoys me most when the keeper tries time wasting and slowing the game down when we're clearly on the front foot and thriving from the high tempo. No idea if that's a manager tactic or a keeper decision but I always find it such a weird thing to do especially when theres a lot of time left in a game

Well maybe we should blame the manager. Don't have an issue with that. I suppose he encourages bookings as a consequence as well.

He clearly does otherwise he'd put a stop to it, especially so early on.

Collins plays exactly the same way the Cheltenham keeper did against us until we scored at Oakwell. It’s clearly a managerial instruction.

Collins plays the same way whenever we are winning
Thats not the issue. It's how early it starts. And as I say it boils my pi55. Regardless of who instructs it. Or carrys it out.

Collins isn't bad at it - he's good at it.
    That's the problem.

“Dennis out, Iley out”. Who was that guy who used to shout that? 45 years ago

If any other player didn't do as the manager instructed and did what he wanted purposefully you'd be incensed! Can't blame Collins for doing what he's told by his own manager

No, there was definitely a Dennis out, Iley out.
    It wasn't John Dennis though.
