2 goals and an assist in 3 games. Just goes to show that Joey Barton knows as much about football as I do about narrow boats. Okay, no clean sheets, but 7 points from 9 is not bad going.
He will have an eye on finishing as our top scorer. He's certainly been showing our attacking players the way to do it.
Looks like we've dropped on a gem here.Tom Edwards was ok but the speed and physical presence of this lad is very good plus he can obviously play right hand side of a three and cover right back if Williams /Cotter is injured or out of form.
When Burnley go up, surely they won't want him for the Prem. One we stand a chance of keeping, if we go up?
We've done alright with our acquisitions from Burnley over the years. Kevin Long was a star centre half as well.
The highest complement i can pay him ....is that he looks like he's been with us all season (I wish he had) good footballer and dare I say I say it my favorite centre back. Doesn't have loads of pace but great on the ball and just a very good defender, certainly at this level...thank you burnley
I’ve been really impressed with him. Solid in defence, decent throw and gets on the end of things in the opposition box. Be good if we can get him here longer term.
Has a good relationship with Duff from youth days too and would only have a year left come summer. Would be great to get him permanently if possible.
They are boats that are designed to go through the narrow 7' locks on much of our inland waterways. There are some with 14' locks known as "wide". Hope you found this helpful and instructive.
Agreed. He's a big lad and looking at the team today it looks like we've finally got some physical presence there, and plenty of it.
Don't forget the speed limits as well. A zippy 4mph on our waterways. Lovely experience when I took one up the Oxford canal a few years ago.
Today's defence is man for man the strongest we've fielded this season. No clean sheets for them yet but Thomas is an improvement on Cundy or McCarthy for me.
