Anyone who did all three deserve a lot of respect as that's some cash and time spent.

My lad and his girlfriend have been to all three. Stayed in a hotel in Exeter overnight, then travelled home the next day. Travelled down to Oxford on Wednesday, stayed there for the night. Got to Portsmouth on Thursday and stayed until today and now driving home. Massive praise to them, but they need their heads checking lol

If they enjoy it and can afford it - why not ? Life's for living.

    I did.
Exeter in November 1980, Oxford in March 81, and Portsmouth in December 94. Does that count?

Did Oxford and Pompey. Would have done Exeter if on a Saturday
But they are a lot easier from Surrey than S Yorkshire

Me, but I don't have a problem with school. :)
On a serious note. I've retired so don't have owt preventing me.
Several more have that I travel with but they don't post on here.
    I don't want a medal I want certifying.
Chuffin joke that disallowed goal btw. Less than a second advantage was given.

I did Plymouth October 1980, Portsmouth November 1980 & Exeter November 1980 and they were three consecutive away league games. I also did Oxford March 1981.
I was fit, healthy, had no responsibilities and could afford it.

I was telling my lad about the Pompey game in 94. I was living in Brighton, so got the train that stops at about 183 villages on the way. It was a pleasant enough journey until we got nearer Portsmouth and their fans started getting on. A group started giving me a bit of abuse so I got up and moved down the train. There was a spare seat in a 4 seater, with a middle aged couple and an elderly man in the other 3, so I thought that was my safest bet. It was. For about 10 seconds. The woman, in her 40s, spotted my Reds shirt and started on at me, pretty nasty too. My only saving grace, apparently, was that I wasn’t a scummer from Southampton, as they are even worse than northerners.

When we arrived, I let everybody get off first, spotted a couple of bobbies at the bottom of the stairs next to the ticket inspectors and proceeded to check all my pockets, as if I’d lost my ticket. When everybody else had disappeared up the stairs I tucked my shirt in, fastened my jacket up, suddenly found my ticket, asked the directions to the ground and didn’t lift my head up until I was safely inside the away end. Where I proceeded to get wet through and watch us get thrashed. The threat of violence, getting wet through and getting thrashed are the three constants over the half a dozen or so times I’ve been to Portsmouth.

I drove down, but was delayed in traffic and didn't get into the ground until about 25 past 3. By that point we were 3-0 down, so I watched an extremely boring nil-nil played on a partially flooded, ploughed field. On the plus side they didn't charge me and put me in the stand, complete with roof, so I remained dry.

I then drove to Hove to stay with a friend. I could've given you a lift back home!

Only other time I've been was the cup game three years ago. We conceded 4 and I made the kick-off and saw all 4 because a friend and I flew down on a goddamn aeroplane. Although we didn’t see our second as we'd retired to the pub across the road by then. But that was before we broke the world. That airline doesn't exist anymore, nor does that flight, and even if it did, I wouldn't be on it as I can barely afford to buy butter, never mind plane tickets to football matches.
