Was rather pleased with Rankin's late winner against Brentford at home early 2000s, went doolally.

Just like the post thats the one I remember from recent times.

Clarke Odour at Brentford. I celebrated that like we’d just won the premier league. I remember jumping around the living room like a mad man.

Was a dark time in my life, and no doubt of everyone’s life on here and that moment was one of very few happy moment from that horrendous period of time.

I’ll never forget that goal and how I felt after.

Clint’s goal for me. I was in the West Stand upper tier that day. Truly remarkable turn of events that day….. One that will stay with me. I had a season ticket for our PL season and travelled up from Portsmouth for every game. Win, lose or draw, absolutely would not change it for the world. 5 live for company on the way home…… happy days.

I'll have to say Rankin vs Brentford as well. Utterly **** season looked like ending with a last day relegation decider. I was on my way out and stood for the final minutes at the bottom of the ESL next to the exit. Ended up dancing on the perimeter wall. That goal meant a lot.

Honourable mention for Nardiello's winner at Huddersfield in the play offs. The joy from turning it around and shoving their over confidence in their face.....:)

Yes I miss the return trip south listening to the R5 phone in, desperately hoping that Barnsley would get a mention. We rarely did. Alan Green was brilliant doing that show. It’s much the same now, listening to Radio Sheffield, but travelling north instead.

My best goal? Too many to mention but Clint’s must be there at the top of the list for the pure release of tension and the eruption of joy.

Probably Clints but not sure I celebrated as much. because it was pure relief.
I remember being in Salou jumping up and down and shouting like an idiot with other holidaymakers wondering wtf. for the winner at Brentford given how the wigan result got turned round.
Probably not as important but the Banks winner against Cardiff (3-2 league cup) was not only the best goal I've ever seen but in the context of how the match played out at the end. Pure joy.

Scotland's goal at Huddersfield on the last day of Flicker's great escape season. Then 10 minutes of celebration as Steele walked the ball around his box

Surprised nobody has mentioned Hendrie at Bramall Lane in the promotion season. Nicky Eaden's goal in the return was another cue for absolute pandemonium.

Cole’s equaliser at Portsmouth. It was 0.01 seconds of unadulterated hell raising pleasure.

    Howard at Anfield
    Angus v Wednesday
    Nardiello at Huddersfield

All late goals that meant everything.

Strangely the Odour goal wasn’t on the register.
Part of me didn’t believe it and there was still the Wigan appeal thing hanging over us.

I also went uncharacteristically off the scale with Harvey Barnes’ goal at Hillsborough. Just felt like we were going down that path again of awful away loss.
What a way to shut them up.
