I have a friend in royston who's next door but one neighbour has been evicted, locks changed, power off.He has two terriers which were kept outside in a small kennel/run.He was told to move the dogs when evicted, which he did,but after the bailiffs and police had left,he put them back overnight without food or water.my friend has tried the police( not interested).Today a dog Warden turned up and was verbally abused by the evictee(coke head by all accounts). He moved them again(chained up outside his mother's house,10 doors or so away).Tonight they are back in the kennel, without food, apparently the place is full of excrement and their claws are turned in they are that long.
Can anybody point us in a direction to get help for these poor animals.unfortunately I am 120 miles away and feel helpless

Can you report it to the RSPCA?

My friend has tried, but wants to remain anonymous.Apparently they want ID.I have tried the council to report cruelty on line but they won't accept my postcode/address because I'm not in the area

I remember an incident many moons ago where the accuser wasnt divulged to the person negligent, by the RSPCA. I dont think they are allowed to name em. I assume that's still the case.

Such a shame that steps have been taken to get these dogs to safety, even through proper means. Pets/animals are innocent victims and sometimes I think we do not deserve their love and loyalty when I hear sad stories like this.

I work for the rspca , definitely call and report it.
Only give details if things go to court.

If unsuccessful with RSPCA you could try Royston Animal Welfare
    email: dogs@roystonanimalwelfare.org
    Phone/text 07874945689.
This is an answerphone they ask that you leave a message with a phone number and they will get back to you
