Senedd Leader Mark Drakeford (Labour) wont be far behind Sturgeon. Said after last Welsh Elections that he'd resign before the end of this present session. Sadly also lost his wife recently.

Maybe, just maybe, the pressures of the big jobs are too much for people and leaders can only do it for a few years before being burnt out...

Nicola Sturgeon led a single cause party and failed to deliver the single cause. The SNP’s record on health and education is pretty poor but she is hailed as a success.

The complete failure of the UK government in virtually every matter probably explains the relative success of Nicola and the SNP.

Where does this leave the SNP? I can't see a prolonged leadership campaign doing them any good.

that's right - the problem for the Welsh Labour Party which is an Alliance with Plaid Cymru is that they are linked in many financial areas with the Westminster Tories - and who would want to be linked with that lot!!
    (Similar problem for the SNP.)
