You don't have to deny a player a opportunity for it to be a foul. Think you may be confusing the criteria for a red card with what constitutes a foul.
Think it's nerves. Can almost feel it through the telly. City are used to this pressure and winning titles, it's much bigger for Arsenal... saying that I still think Arsenal will score again. Have a feeling they'll still win!
I want Arsenal to win the league, although the amount of arrogance and stupidity I've seen since they've been doing well from their fans is mental! They haven't won anything yet but act as though they have! But I think I want City to win this because it'll be REALLY tight at the top, should make for some cracking games. I think City have won 10 out of their last 10 against Arsenal
Perhaps not with a pass because they would play advantage, thus acknowledging the foul has been committed. If play continued for several seconds then a shot was taken it may not be pulled back. However with the shot being the last action before the foul I think it's fairly common to see it pulled back. For me it's a clear foul and rather clumsy of the keeper.
All this agreeing and disagreeing between us, after all these angles & the amount of time discussing, goes to show how hard it must be to be a referee! Although to be fair, this is a debatable one. Some of the calls in recent weeks have been tremendously bad. Incompetent
Thought that myself as I was replying and its why VAR will never eliminate disagreement. But yes some have been awful, especially factual ones like the offsides.
Forgetting to draw a line or drawing a line from the wrong player is ridiculous, absolutely no excuses, especially considering it's the 'best league in the world' with incredible amounts of wealth circling around
