I had to go and rescue my 15 year old son and his friend from another friends house last night where he was supposed to be staying, the parents had some other adult friends there and my son and his friend were subjected to what sounds like sustained sexual harassment from some of the women there - when I went to pick him up there was even a few people came out with them and one of the women told me she was taking my son to his school prom - but its ok because "I'm only 23".
Imagine a 23 year old bloke following a 15 year old girl out of a house and saying this????

Fkn Fuming. Why is this somehow normalised????

Sexual harassment is unacceptable, wherever it's coming from. Who's normalising it?

Wow, this sounds horrible, really sorry to hear this. I can reassure you though that casual paedophilia is in no way normal.

Sorry to hear this. Not cool.

You are right in that Women praying on boys in some circles is seen as far more acceptable than men praying on girls. I think the majority of us don’t though. I’d be fuming as well, some pieces of my mind would be getting doled out for sure.

That’s not in any way normal! I’d be going round to see them and to have a serious conversation with them. He wouldn’t be going to that’s friend’s house again either unless the friend’s parents agree it was unacceptable and promise fully that those people won’t ever be allowed in the house at the same time as your son again.

I’d agree it’s out of order, but once again your understanding of complex issues is lacking.

It’s not ok. no one thinks it’s ok. Why can’t people find the right battle to pick because they’re too quick to react.

The 23 year pld female thought it was ok.

    Definitely needs police involvement.

Isn’t it strange, from any adult point of view it’s wrong and they shouldn’t be allowed to do it and get away with it.
But thinking back to 15 year old me I’d have been thinking it was my birthday!

No one in this thread has suggested it’s ok. I’d hope you don’t know anyone who thinks it’s ok.
However; I haven’t seen a crime suggested by anyone, so why would the police need to be involved.

All I’m seeing is a probably drunk 23 year old saying things she shouldn’t have and she’s probably woke up and realised she’s been a dick.
No evidence of a sexual assault, just stupidity.

Name one person who has implied in any way that this was ok (other than the disgusting people carrying it out). I don’t know why the op hasn’t reported it but clearly they don’t find it ok either.

No one is normalising anything, as I can see. It needs reporting, as others have said. Gender does not come into abuse. Fred West's wife was an abuser. There are loads of couples & single females who have been convicted of abuse. Wrong is wrong. Let them answer the questions to the law.

Possibly grooming depending on what else was said before the arrival of his parent and if things have been said before.

What was/were the parent/s of the friend whose house it was, thinking.
I assume rightly or wrongly the friend (if an he) would have been subjected to the same harassment. ?
Maybe a word in their ear about allowing it to go on ( if they weren't the perpetrators)would be the first port of call. If wakey already hasn't.

Have a minute, and just let me know what you were hoping to achieve by this patronising post, other than making yourself appear even more of a condescending bellcheese than we all already know you are.

    sensible advice HF

The police may well question who was responsible for letting the 15 year old go to the (unchecked?) house in the first place.

I also wonder if a 15 year old boy would want his parent to make an issue of it.
