I’ve sat there for a Wednesday game , second row back , a bloke in his 40’s in front of me spent 90 minutes facing the Wednesday fans simulating masterbation , a surreal experience
That’s the kind of thing that I mentioned in my post above. Not a single brain cell present, and he wouldn’t be the only one, on either side. This kind of stuff makes me wonder why I have stuck with this game for so long. 60 seasons for me and I still can’t walk away. It’s something I’ve considered many times, especially having spent most of my adult life living away from Barnsley. It’s an obsession I suppose. A kind of sickness for which there is no known cure.
In that section and fighting with Barnsley fans sat there and that's why the club don't sell tickets there.
The time we played at 5.30 there was trouble in that corner between barnsley and Leeds fans and there was trouble in the ponty when a Leeds fan got found out. Quite a few home fans got bans after that game.
I've never considered masturbating or any sexual stimulation at a football game. Never felt the urge too engrossed with the football.
It was more than just a couple of Leeds fans in the Barnsley end that caused problems that night. Bottles being thrown from both directions. Fans on the pitch from both stands after goals. It makes perfect sense to segregate that entire area, particularly with the family section directly above it.
Yes, they were there ! You'd just got to know how and where to find them in their short skirts. Be afraid .... very afraid.
“This is a sector that’s been significantly disrupted by Brexit… we are uniquely exposed to imports at this time of year. There is a genuine shortage, but we did rather bring this problem on ourselves.” Justin King CEO of Sainsbury’s.
Im sure that has been said before. If we need that area we will use it, otherwise its about minimising risk
But spreading fans out across a wider area can also affect the atmosphere. Fans in the end blocks, purely to be nearer opposition fans, don't really add to the atmosphere from my experience, they just add lot's of hand gestures. We've already had a fine for fan behaviour this season, can understand the caution. Particularly while there's still plenty of tickets available.
