    Messaging a Derby mate of mine I was saying that they’re Number 6 (Cashin?) looked Sunday League and he reckoned that he was their player of the season so far!

    My Derby supporting mate who lives in Plymouth (didn’t go today) reckons it was their worst performance of the season and we are only where we are because we’ve only played **** teams so far :D

    Contract runs out at the end of May so will be open to offers. Keep playing like that, Brad will be staying and that lad moving on to better things if we dont go up. Looks quality and dare I say it. CHAMPIONSHIP standard at first glance. Unlike one or two others. But what do I know. ;).
    At his age he's said he needs to be a first team regular. So, unless a big club offering megabucks come in for him as second choice. he'll not want to be a bench warmer.

    Fantastic performance today with everyone doing their bit, especially nice to see Kane, Cole and Norwood playing so well with the frightening thing being that we seem to keep improving week on week.

    Yet they too have to play Wendy. Plymouth and Ipswich once each. The barmpot. Very similar run in to us.

    From what I’ve seen of him before, albeit it’s quite minimal, he has looked decent. Today Norwood absolutely ran him ragged so that’s full praise to him.

    For the first time since the Stendel era I genuinely had a buzz and sense of excitement about today's game, even during the days prior to it. Even went for a pint beforehand, which I haven't done for many years.

    Not a game for purist but just the sort of match I love watching, it was competitive and, as poor as Derby were, they didn't come to do anything other than attack. A good honest game of football, a team and fanbase in absolute unity for 90 mins.

    Today was a credit to everyone associated with Barnsley FC.

    Big games ahead. We need the support we had today for every single game now. The away end will be sold out for probably Wednesday, Plymouth and Ipswich. Ipswich took a load to MK Dons today.
