I think it’s fair to say that if we play them again this year, they won’t be playing out from the back like that again
No idea why their fans / Paul Warne are bleating about the first goal cole was onside (their last man is stood on six yard line) And the ball hit their defender to get to cole
Theres a decent 5 1/2 minute highlights package from Derby on YouTube (sorry, useless with links). Gives a better perspective of the key incidents.
Thanks very much for this, much clearer than the highlights on iFollow. Shows that Hourihane played the ball to Cole - and, quite clearly, Cole wasn't offside anyway: he was behind the Derby defender on the edge of the six yard box when the ball was last played (by Horihane). At the time I didn't think Cole offside as he merely continued his run forward to meet any ball played in.
It wants to be. They have an in-house video platform with a dozen staff producing it. It costs them well over a million pounds a year. Not jealous, honest. That they went for a full year in administration and didn't cut their media budget is both mental and commendable. The guy on lead comms was BBC Derby's version of Andy Giddings. Or was. They lured him full time to the club. You see, it's not just on the pitch that they spent lavishly. For what it's worth, our alternative angle video on iFollow Barnsley for subscribers (it'll be FREE today actually) will be a great watch.
