I disagree. Much as Collins has done well for us I’m a firm believer that good form should keep the shirt. Isted has looked great so far and deserves to keep his place.

Good form should keep the shirt I agree. Collins was in very good form until he lost the shirt through no fault of his own.

We've got two excellent goalkeepers in the squad, it's not the time to be bairning about it. Someone needs to start a Deon Burton thread so we can all let off a bit of steam.
Trouble with goalies is they don't have the chance to be subbed on to get their fitness/ confidence back to vie for their place like an outfield player does. Personally I wouldn't prioritise a loan signing over a permanent player, even if they were marginally better ( which I don't think Isted is at this moment in time)
If you call someone who replies to you in a relatively reasonable manner a moron of course they will react. I don’t mind your responses about players but if you start off like that you’ll get some back. If you are pleasant I will be pleasant back. As you say enough said on it. We all have players we like and don’t. That’s normal. It just seemed inappropriate to me to twist a nice thread into a personal crusade you have against Collins.
I get what you're saying and to be honest I wouldn't have a problem with Collins coming back in. One area I've been really impressed with Isted though is his handling of crosses. I really hope we can sign him permanently. Either way, it's not a bad problem to have, with two good keepers.

Christ are you banging on about this. I said that Collins was one of our best and most consistent players over the last two seasons. You said "deary me". So I gave up and presumed an agenda - simply because theres no other logical reason. If you honestly think that Collins hasnt been one of our best and most consistent players, then fair enough I'll leave it, because it's not worth the debate. That's me done on the subject. Hopefully Isted continues to excel in Collins' absence.
