Hope we have plans in place for early pitch inspections if required, in view of the distance of fans travelling, especially away fans.

No, I said it would be 'sleeting' on Saturday, which it did, albeit briefly at around 1pm. I know this, as Derby fans taking over the Dove meant we were forced to shiver outside with our ale until it started coming down.

Blimey, it's a week away. The Beeb's weather page usually struggles to predict the next day's weather accurately...

And even as it started coming down there was a fella in replica shirt and shorts on his way out for a pint.

I once went to Scarborough because the BBC weather said it was nice and sunny.

    It snowed. :)

Some of the many weather apps available are, I'm sure, just guessing. They get a kid to fill in the details
on a made up basis, like the papers used to do with horoscopes. With all the tech available these days, I don't know how else to explain that a weather app I used didn't know at 11pm that, by 8am the following morning it would be raining.
