What's that an increase of £1.50 per game? Pretty inevitable considering prices have stayed the same since 2017 and the raising costs the club have had to deal with. Must be a much lower increase than inflation over that 6 year period? Good to see kids tickets remain at £10. Must be one of the cheapest out there? Glad the club have listened to the feedback on the longer early bird window as well and that the payment plan remains in place.
Prices decent however early butd for me should be till end may. As it stands if we dont make top two then the every chance fans will need to find money for another Wembley trip on top of finding 350 fir season ticket.
Hopefully the club put something on for season ticket holders in the summer like they did last year. The tours of the stadium were great, and I really enjoyed being able to play at Oakwell.
How about a deal for the remaining home games of this season's run-in? I ask this very selfishly as my work plans now mean I can get to all of them, but generally, they seem keen to get bums on seats and a noisier Oakwell. Some kind of multi-buy thing? With hindsight, should have done the half-season ticket thing, but didn't know then what I know now!
you can take it on a 3 month 0% payment plan, which would give you up to august to repay in instalments
I have no problem with the price increase - everything else has gone up by a big percentage more than this and they haven’t raised prices in real terms for six years. Also have no problem with the early bird ending when it does. The whole point is that it is an early bird offer - not a ‘let’s see which league we’re in before I commit’ offer. It’s generous extending it to may in the first place IMO. I’ve renewed our three tickets. It’s not like I wasn’t going to anyway, and the club will probably appreciate the money now rather than in two months. It’s a more than fair price whether it’s league one or championship football, there have been marked improvements in terms of the footballing side and the administrative side, and whilst there are clearly still issues being addressed I have no reason not to back them. I think this is the earliest I’ve ever renewed mind.
I have no issue in the cost going up around £40 if it goes to a better matchday experience. Early Bird I would give people until a week after we know for sure what league we are in next season.
I'll be renewing EB as well. I could take up the interest-free option but I won't, as I think the club are picking up the tab for the interest. I'd rather that interest be in their pocket than mine. Would be interesting to see if anyone is 'waiting to see if Duff is still here next season', rather than what league we're in.
Are the club still doing the deal where you can get a senior ticket at 60 if you have had a ticket continually since before they moved the age up?
2009 - from the faqs on the club site: Senior Season Tickets are available to all persons aged 65 years or over on Tuesday 1st August 2023. The Senior age category is set at over 65. Existing/longstanding season ticket holders who have had no lapse in membership since the upper age limit changed in 2009 will continue to qualify at 60.
