https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-lancashire-64861231.amp Died in the early hours of this morning 33 year old from Burnley arrested and bailed what a pointless loss of life rip
The video I’ve seen tonight on twitter doesn’t look great, it looks like the Blackpool fans attacking the pub looking for trouble, a very sad and tragic way to lose a life
It appears to be one of those update type pages. Further down it says police were called to a 15 man brawl thought to be between rival football fans.
Just seen the video it would appear a group of blackpool fans turn up outside the Manchester (the designated away pub) goading the Burnley fans in the entrance, a fight breaks out between the two groups at the end one man laying on the floor. Why a bloke in his 50s is going looking for trouble at football is beyond me.
So the Blackpool fan who's died in his 50s was part of the Blackpool group who went to the pub looking for trouble? I just presumed that he was just unlucky in getting caught up in something he had nothing to do with.
Not sure it’s wise to speculate on specifics, given the police are investigating a death. Am amazed the video has not been taken down from Twitter yet.
