they always say something like "up to 10cm expected in our region", they always forget to mention the region they mean is the high peak, not the rain shadow side where 90% or yorkshire people live.
Sky News cut to "our reporter in the blizzard conditions".........dunno where he was, but there was barely a flake.
Yeah it's really winding me up. Sat upstairs in the office seeing the snow coming down. Kids off school, everybody out sledging and making snowmen. And we're leaving it, to go on the most expensive walking holiday ever. And I don't even like walking. Could have had 5 star AI in the sun for a week, for what this has cost. So yeah. Not a happy bunny right now! Are lass is less than sympathetic to my plight. In her words "Get your head round it, or we're going without ya". Fair dos
Somewhere in French Alps. It's not meant to be a walking holiday btw, in case you'd not picked up on that. It's just shaping up that way, cos there's no snow where we're going...
Ohh haha, if you want to do a proper walk in the Alps I'm planning to do the Mont Blanc circular tour in the next couple of year . not in winter, snow or no snow!!
