I just hope we communicate better than Exeter did. We can’t berate them and then not try and communicate better when we have the the same scenario for an away team facing a lengthy trip.
That’s what I was getting at really. All seems fine now but we really should make a call before they get here. We were quite rightly annoyed by Exeter so we’ll look right wallies if game is called off late. But then again if pitch, car parks and pavements are fine by 3pm tomorrow we’ll look equally daft! Not sure what the solution is to be honest!
I hope the Plymouth squad have 10 hours sat on a coach but that the game goes ahead. Hopefully we’ve got lots of grit down & it’s not as cold as feared through the night. It’d be a massive shame to cancel the match early & then it end up been playable. With no more snow forecast we can’t be postponing it early in my opinion.
Whereabouts are you? We're in Lincoln city centre, nothing even settled here but I saw a few snowy cars yesterday morning.
I read that Plymouth are bringing 1,400 fans tomorrow. I hope that, whatever the decisions taken are, they're taken with due consideration for them that our supporters failed to receive from Exeter City.
I wished it was sunny in Ardsley at 5:30 this morning when I was shovelling snow out from under my wheels to get to Doncaster for 6:30am. :-(
Its not the point it will have thawed by tomorrow the point is the team and a number of there fans will be travelling today and the conditions are different
Does anyone know if anything is being done at the minute i.e clearing outside box office, car parks etc
The Met Office is forecasting temperatures as low as -9C for Oakwell overnight, and still -7C at 7.00 tomorrow. +3 is forecast for kick-off time, but it's hard to believe that snow and all ice will have gone by then.
