They do produce heat. And with em being on rigs can be positioned as close to the ground as possible I assume.
At what time would you want it inspected. ?. 10am seems a reasonable time to me. And why are you so confident it'll be called off. From what I saw when I called at the ground this afternoon. If the forecasts are as they are at the mo. The only concern will be the pitch and the club seem to be on top of that.
If we were playing Derby there’s no way they’d be inspecting the pitch at 10am. A pitch inspection should be just that - checking to make sure the surface is playable and safe for the players. The only reason they’re doing it that early is because it’s Plymouth and they don’t want to risk calling it off too late and pissing their fans off like what happened to us with Exeter.
Because 10 am won't be a reflection of conditions at 3 pm; and it's that that counts, not how far opposition supporters might have to travel.

I'm aware conditions will change. Yes I get that. Which I see as reasonable. I went to Exeter. The ref turned up far too late. (excuse stuck in traffic) and given the forecast was freezing conditions at ko time. Was a joke to say the least. The ref has requested the inspection to take place at 10am. The forecasts later will help him reach a considered verdict in my view. Aiding the Plymouth travellers. The official coaches from Plymouth aren't setting off till 6:15 am. As has been the case when tickets went on sale. Not 4am unless Independents are different times which is the chance they take. We were on our way to oxford and once we knew there was an inspection. stopped off till the outcome was known.
I love that they included a photo of everyone who has been working on it today. Well done and thank you to those people.

The question has to be asked why the referee has asked for a 10 am inspection when even he should know tht this is not representative of the conditions later. Probably wants an early finish so he can get home down south for his evening G&T.
"Gritting will continue during the game" could make it interesting at corners! Sorry, I couldn't resist!

If the pitch is playable at that time and Given the improving forecast from 10am. But you also seem convinced it'll be off. I'm quietly confident it'll be on. Damn I hate predictions lol. How do we get our replies back on track btw.
