FFS. I suppose it gives us a bigger rest after the Wednesday game, but I’d rather get it played. These games in hand will only put more pressure on us.

Aye, remember Sunderland last time we went up. Had about 35 games in hand on us and bottled it....

More games in hand not ideal at all, by the time the rearranged fixture is in place we might not have a chance of to 2. They shouldn’t be able to cancel the fixture. It’s called a squad game for a reason.

Not saying who their third is yet. Really annoying but extra motivation for our lads that Ipswich don't have faith in their fringe players stepping up against us that they have taken this option, which is worse for their own fans who now have a long night trip instead.

They’ve strategically got this called off, it’s so annoying. If they were up against Forest Green would it have been called off?

Annoying considering the size of their squad and crap for the fans that have paid for train tickets.

I’m guessing Tuesday 25th of April it is?

Staying positive , you could argue it works in our favour as we won’t be as tired from a tough game versus Sheffield Wednesday.

ipswich will have played away against Peterborough a few days before 25/4 and then travel again to play us.

Spot on. It's a boost to our players that they have little faith in those replacing them missing. They have annoyed their own fans too who now have to visit us at a much worse time.

So much for a rare positive of being in this league being you still play in an international break.

WTF. We'll beat them. OK no one wants to play us at the moment. We'll play them off the park. I still don't think we'll make the top 2, but no one in their right mind would want to face us now. Whatever happens this season we've been a revelation. Let's Keep On Keeping On, as Curtis Mayfield said.

Honestly don’t see how this can be swing on a positive in our favour. The game’s now likely to be played at the end of April/start of May when we may be out of the race for top 2, it turns into a meaningless fixture for us. Ipswich have played a blunder here…..

You can argue the game being postponed is a bigger positive for us than Ipswich.
The game would have been 4 days after Sheff Wed (& 7 days after Wycombe) while Ipswich would have had a free week to rest and prepare.

Being sandwiched between 2 midweek games was always gonna make the Ipswich game even more difficult.

It also now gives us time to prepare for Exeter game the following week.
