    Well after backing Nicholls horses on day one and two I looked at Stage Star, thought it had a chance and deliberately didn't back it!
    Got two placed horses so got money back today.
    As to Shishkin. I thought it would probably win but there were question marks and when on telly the tv pundit in the betting ring was showing us 10000 quid that some bloke had just lumped on it I just laughed. You just do not lump big sums onto horses, especially over jumps (unless of course money is meaningless to you). I wonder what the guy thought when Shishkin was clearly not running great.
