    The last time we went on an unbeaten run as long as this one, the final victory in that run was away at Wycombe, and the game which ended the run was a home defeat to Wednesday! :eek:

    We're on 11 unbeaten, that was 12 in the season under big Val.

    That was the first time since the 50s I believe where, if I remember right, we won Christmas Day and Boxing Day against them.

    If I remember correctly, the last live televised clash at Oakwell between Barnsley & Wednesday was a 3-0 victory in December 2001, with goals from Chris Morgan and two from Mike Sheron.

    The one Ipswich fans are referring to is to possibility that they may play Bolton in the play off semi and then Barnsley in the final. Just like in 2000. But no, that has no bearing on the outcome if it comes to pass either.

    We’ve had a least two since then from memory, 2011/12 Chris O Grady scored for them in a 0-1 defeat & a couple of years later lunchtime kick off, Marcus Pedersen scored in a 1-1 draw.
