Wow wow wow. I don’t think anyone in football predicted that result. Need to take full advantage on Tuesday. Any complacency whatsoever, and we’ll be coming away empty handed as well.
And.........they've got Cheltenham next and they are in good form. So are Exeter, that has become our most important game of the season, as the next one will continue to be.
no doubt about it, it’s a big win for Forest Green especially if they pull off a miracle escape. Massive in the context that the experts on Pork Talk thought they wouldn’t drop another point after we turned them over.
Wednesday have had a great season, if they miss out on promotion this year then they should roll up their sleeves and Big Darren and the boys can give it a good go next season. Lots of praise should be given for what they have achieved and better luck next time.
Nearly as bad as when we lost at Morecambe this season, ohh and Altringham in the Fa cup too lol. Hey is this all part of operation Fowls f*k up!. And why were they playing today, when our game should have been yesterday.
If this isn't an incentive to graft and win on Tuesday then nothing is.I agree with others that we now are in with a great chance of autos.
They are too slow Wednesday. They have some good experience which as guided them but the energy ain't there. Personally i would want them to go up if we went up. It would be our luck blunts go up. Leeds stay up. Huddersfield go down. We would barely have a Yorkshire Derby to look forward to
No its not, even if we get a point it would be another point gained on the top two & there would still be another 9 games left , we are not going to win every game but keep the scoreboard ticking over & see where it takes us .
I maybe read I'd different and as an obituary to Wednesday's dead season..even tho thers still lots of games and points to go for..
True, but I think if we are to go up, we need to win the next two, to get some pressure on Plymouth and Wednesday. Of course teams will drop points, but in terms of top 2, we don’t have much margin for error and the earlier we use it up, the easier we make it for teams above us. Not a given, as it’s against two teams that have already beaten us once, but two wins puts us right in it going into Easter. Any dropped points would put us back to being outsiders.
Despite this result and performance, Forest Green are relegation fodder of course, and they just haven't been good enough in their first season in this League. But remember, we also still have to visit them!.
We shouldn't be going into any of these remaining fixtures thinking there are any easy games or we will come unstuck. Wednesday have just lost to bottom of the table FGR . Our two toughest remaining games on paper appear to be Ipswich and Peterborough at home although Shrewsbury could be tricky and Exeter / Lincoln away won't be straightforward.
