It is a tough game John, but they are all going to be tough and we can only deal with what’s in front of us. I think the win is really important because the momentum and the belief that it is creating on and off the pitch is huge. And I think it’s putting real doubt into the minds of other teams (see Sheffield 6). Could take us all the way.
Not great. Panicking far too much on the ball. Way too many loose balls and poor control. They need to calm down and start finding passes. Good start, poor later on. Poor from Williams for their goal. Actually think Thomas has looked really suspect this half, really indecisive at times, making wrong choices. Phillips off it too. Both have plenty of grace though for their previous performances so hopefully they'll come out firing after a Duff team talk! Think Luke Thomas would be excellent for this game. We need more from our midfield, most of the passes from them seem to be backwards. Kane and Phillips need to do more, otherwise Thomas should come in sooner rather than later.
He looks off form, not too involved as he was a few weeks back. I'd bring on Luke Thomas pretty soon to run at them, replacing Adam Philips.
Interesting that we have had more possession than Exeter as usually we have so little possession compared to the opposition.
